What is the sea of glass? – Throne Room

⁶ and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; (Revelation 4:6a)

Later we see a woman sitting on many waters which are identified as peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.

The “something like a sea of glass, like crystal;” I believe are God’s people.

The Way was narrow so it is a sea; and not many waters but unified as one

The people have been sanctified in Truth, making them transparent like glass and clear as crystal

They are before the throne, beholding the One who sits on the throne, not on them

And they are at perfect peace, no longer tossed like the waves here and there by various teachings or anxiously swaying in anticipation for fear of things to come.

These people knew God in their hearts and followed His ways even though they were never privileged with knowing the gospel. I believe this is what God uses to create the New Jerusalem.
