Who will be left?

The fourth seal kills a quarter of the earth. This brings the total population from 100% to 75%. The sixth trumpet kills a third of mankind. One third of 75% is 25%. Therefore, losing a third brings the total population down to 50%. At this point, the seventh trumpet sounds, and those who remain alive are also caught up into heaven. When speaking of this event, Jesus says half will be taken. This brings the total population down to 25%. This 25% is then given the option of taking the mark of the beast and are tortured for six bowls of God’s wrath, until the battle of Armageddon, where their destruction is completed. God then reigns on the earth for a thousand years with those who were beheaded.

12 I will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold
And mankind than the gold of Ophir. (Isaiah 13:12)

I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:8)

18 A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths. (Revelation 9:18)

40 Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left. (Matthew 24:40-41)

17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16-17)

23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 25 Behold, I have told you in advance. (Matthew 24:23-25)

13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; 14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. (Revelation 16:13-14)
