Welcome Traveler, to the church of Philadelphia.

The rewards for overcoming where you have landed are as follows:

Passage

12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ (Revelation 3:12-13)

Understanding

You will be a pillar in the temple, making you a vital support for the church. You will not go out from it anymore, which means you will speak to God face to face. You will have three names written on you which means you are trusted as an ambassador of Their attributes.

God’s name: invisible attributes, eternal power, divine nature, clearly seen and understood through everything around.

The new Jerusalem: nations walking by your light, counseling kings, no temple building, always ready, receive the best and only around the beloveds, nothing unclean or liars in your life.

Jesus’ new name: you will know the Word and your past will be forgotten

Pillars hold up the “house”

29 Samson grasped the two middle pillars on which the house rested, and braced himself against them, the one with his right hand and the other with his left. 30 And Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he bent with all his might so that the house fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead whom he killed at his death were more than those whom he killed in his life. (Judges 16:29-30)

Not go out from it anymore

11 Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. (Exodus 33:11)

God’s attributes

19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:19-20)

New Jerusalem attributes

22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 25 In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; 26 and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it27 and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. (Revelation 21:22-27)

Jesus’ attributes

16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them
After those days, says the Lord:
I will put My laws upon their heart,
And on their mind I will write them,

He then says,

17 “And their sins and their lawless deeds
I will remember no more.” (Hebrews 10:16-17)
