Glory to shame

The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me;
I will change their glory into shame. (Hosea 4:7)

13 Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. (1 Corinthians 6:13)

 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)

If the action brings dishonor on you and your family for doing it in public, it is shameful such as Absalom sleeping with his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel to make himself odious (#887) to his father (2 Samuel 16:21-22).

But God’s Glory is represented by smoke and clouds.

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished. (Revelation 15:8)
