Seeing Jesus

²² Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. (John 14:22-23)

For a long time, I didn’t understand this. It seemed like Jesus ignored the question. Then it was revealed He didn’t. He explains that He will disclose both Himself and the Father to anyone who loves Him by keeping His commandments. If anyone wants Jesus in their life He will be there. If not, He won’t.

²⁷ But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.” (Luke 19:27)
