Who is Jesus – part I

12Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! (Psalm 2:12)

After Saul became king and won his first battle, before he offered the sacrifice and before he spared the king of Amalek it says,

12 Then the people said to Samuel, “Who is he that said, ‘Shall Saul reign over us?’ Bring the men, that we may put them to death.” 13 But Saul said, “Not a man shall be put to death this day, for today the LORD has accomplished deliverance in Israel.” (1 Samuel 11:12-13)

But Jesus says,

27 But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.” (Luke 19:27)
