Instructions given to members of the church of Philadelphia by the Lord Jesus Christ are as follows:
Passage
11 I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Revelation 3:11)
Understanding
Keep what you have been given. Uriah held fast to what the king had, not what he had. It cost him his crown and his life. Greed, wanting more, is idolatry, and idolatry is adultery.
Risk warning
Losing your spouse. If you think you have no strength in you to keep fighting for your marriage, it is because someone is trying to take your crown, your spouse. God knows you have little strength, and Jesus is coming to you soon, so do not give up.
