Why is God jealous?
God says in Malachi that He made them male and female. And that He made them one because He wanted godly children. The first-time jealousy is mentioned is when Rachel is jealous of her sister Leah for having four children while she still had none. Blessings for following God written in Exodus is that you will have no barrenness or miscarriages in your land. Curses for not following, he eventually destroys every remnant of you. When Rebekah asked God why her body was going through what it was, God told her she had two children inside her womb, and each was a nation. Every child born has the potential to be a nation, even if it is cast away like Ishmael. So, why is God jealous? He wants nations, when someone doesn’t follow Him, they aren’t making the decision for just them, there are millions, countless stars that they are speaking for, and He wants all of them. It says the stars sang for joy when God created the heavens and the earth, and that God predestined us for good deeds, meaning they were already planned out from the beginning. There is a great host of witnesses that are watching, they all want a chance to proclaim the gospel.
