What happens to the betrayer Assyria?

Woe to you, O destroyer,
While you were not destroyed;
And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him.
As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed;
As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you. (Isaiah 33:1)

This passage has been understood as referring to Assyria. Someone dealing treacherously with someone who had not dealt treacherously with him is the definition of betrayal.

Return to Him from whom you have deeply defected, O sons of Israel. For in that day every man will cast away his silver idols and his gold idols, which your sinful hands have made for you as a sin.

And the Assyrian will fall by a sword not of man,
And a sword not of man will devour him.
So he will not escape the sword,
And his young men will become forced laborers.
“His rock will pass away because of panic,
And his princes will be terrified at the standard,”
Declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion and whose furnace is in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 31:6-9)

Judas threw his gold, which his sinful hands had made for his sin. I believe he also returned to the One whom he deeply defected. He fell by a sword not of man, suicide, and His rock, Jesus, was taken away as the disciples fled in panic. Concerning Assyria’s future,

24 In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, 25 whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.” (Isaiah 19:24-25)

Egypt first, Assyria second, Israel third. When Assyria is done betraying and destroying, they are destroyed, placed in second, and called the work of My hands. The left is for the fire and a Seraphim is also called “a burning one”
